Dr Visvalingam completed her basic physician training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney and her advanced training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Westmead Hospital, Sydney.
Dr Visvalingam is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, London and also a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She is currently a Staff Specialist in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Wollongong Hospital where she has established the highly successful respiratory failure service for the Illawarra. Dr V has also introduced endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) to the region and is an interventional bronchoscopist.
Dr Visvalingam has been involved in multiple research projects and is a published author.

Clinical Sleep Physiologist
Stergos trained in the field of sleep medicine at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney with the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. He obtained his Master of Science in Medicine, Sleep Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sydney under Professor Colin Sullivan, the inventor of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) which is the gold standard for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) treatment worldwide.
Stergos is also a Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (USA) (BRPT) currently the only internationaly recognised qualification, and one of only 154 board registered Australia wide.
Ms. Mel Campbell
Mel brings with her over 26 years of experience within health administration. Mel commenced in General Practice as a Medical Receptionist progressing to Practice Manager of large 7 day medical centres prior to moving into Specialist practice.
Originally from Brisbane, Mel has been living in the Illawarra for over 5 years and is passionate about healthcare and ensuring that patients achieve optimum health outcomes.
